Finn's 4th Birthday Parties

we've landed out of town for numerous birthdays. all three of the boys are close to holidays (jack's on st. pat's which is usually spring break, rowan's near thanksgiving, and finn's right after new year's). it's a tad hard to be out of town, in a different house on your big day. i make a special extra effort to make it special when the guys can't party with pals. for finn this year we went piratical. i made a quick trip to the dollar store before we left and scored some fun stuff for cousins and brothers. finn's so mild and grateful. little sweetie. we celebrated first with jon's parents and sister and then down with jon's brothers family on the real day.

he's worn that shirt almost everyday since. day and night. i have to sneak it in the wash while he runs around shirtless.

Finn's 3!

on the 5th of january, we celebrated finn!

i can not believe he's 3, you'd think he was 4 (major talker & off the growth charts tall).

it was so fun to celebrate this sweet middle child.

blue kool-aid was the big hit.

and i thought we'd run out of chocolate milk.

"F" cookie favors. finn was in l-o-v-e with these.

kettle corn is a favorite around here.

simple cardstock flags on toothpicks and triple lined cupcakes sure are cute.

finn - sweet, loving, humble, happy-go-lucky. i can't begin to tell you how much this kid has my heart.

it was so fun to plan for finn and celebrate him and his first three years. i loved praying for him, and watching him get shy when everyone sang to him.
