prayer letters are a family ordeal. jon and i both write them, depending on who has something to say, but i always "tweak" and "prettify" them - some better than others. as a part of the ministry, we actually have a full day a month we're allowed to take to write our prayer letter. however, between writing it, designing it, printing labels, stamping and stuffing envelopes it usually takes us the better half of two days!
jack has started to really enjoy the process as well. he really likes to stick labels (which will explain if yours is upside down or crooked) and stuffing the letters into the envelopes. getting a prayer letter out really is a process. we totally enjoy it though, and we feel pretty strongly about sending them snail mail to be sure they end up in spouses hands and get read ;-) it's so fun to be a part of something we get to share with people who love and support us.

We love getting your prayer letters.
actually it's me who said that not Kevin, but he enjoys them as well.
Yay! We got ours in the mail. Looks cute and tell Jack he did a great job putting the label on there!
Hope you're all doing well - we think about you often!
