Cork Board

Photobucket

hey look! i made a cork board! i've literally wanted to do this for years. it's taken months of buying a little at a time, but here she is! the frame was orig. $59.99 marked down to $12 @ hobby lobby because it was really (really) ugly...gold with red flecks all through it. i got the corkboard @ walmart, and jon cut it down to size. b/c i bought the frame at hobby lobby, the guy @ the framing counter put it in and added a hanging wire for free while i waited (thanks for the tip ame)!

i sprayed it ivory and then used valspar's antiquing glaze (thank you ame once again) over the top. super simple! the tacks were on clearance @ the ole hobby lobs for $3.40. i'd had my eye on them for a long, long time.
