this weekend we headed into the beautiful mountains of estes park for our athletes in action winter retreat.

jon went up a day early which meant i packed, loaded and drove all three kids myself. that's a surprising lot of work...especially when you're sick.

there was worship, speaker sessions, games, and fellowship with just under 100 student athletes from around the front range.

the boys hung out with the staff kids from wyoming.

brandon football player turned track runner - definitely look for his story to show up in one of our news letters he's amazing.

we watched movies on the mac in the lodge during a speaker session.

finn kept saying the reindeer were coming out.

all the boys had plenty of csu gear on.

some of our cute girlies (what on earth am i doing with my legs ?!).

the dudes.

Looks like fun! I LOVE how the boys are so included in everything you do(even if sometimes that means sitting in the Lobby watching movies)! Praying that they truly develop servants hearts and a deep love for the Lord!
What a weekend! Sorry you were sick, but it looks like you still had fun! July is only, hmm, FOUR months away. Boo! Miss you!
Winter Retreat in the Rockies, going to school in the midwest has sounded like a bad idea until now ;) looks like you had a blast, can't believe I'll miss you next weekend!
Props to you for packing up and doing it! That is a lot of work girl! But students are so impacted just by watching your fam interact. So cool:)
i'll be there to help next year ;)
