did you know...that aveda salons are awesome! here's a little known bit of their awesomeness. not only are their hair care products good for your hair instead of damaging, but they smell like heaven too! that's not the little known bit. here it is:

if you ask for a stylist in the "fresh start" program. your first haircut is $10 (!!!) and then $16 after that. full highlights are $45. PLUS, it's an aveda salon so you get all their hair products, and aveda stylist know how to cut hair and get really great training, even if they're new.

if you've been to an aveda salon before you know that they do a complimentary foot soak, parafin wax, toner spritz for your face and "finishing touches" when you leave like lip gloss. depending on the salon, they offer you coffee, tea and water, or, like the salon pictured, they offer soda and wine! hello!

the gal i've been going to takes 3 hours to do my hair (OMW!) so i feel like i've been away at the spa for a day, and i come home refreshed all for 61 bucks. pretty sweet.
