jon and i snuck off to silverthorne last weekend. we were able to use a ski cabin of an AIA friendly family and sam and gwyn graciously kept the boys. now that's what you call good friends!
we drive thru the 2 mile long eisenhower tunnel on the way thru loveland pass. on one side it was fall and on the other....

it was full on winter. this is the view in front of our condo.
we drove out to breckenridge for one afternoon and basically bummed around the whole rest of the time. eating out with out kids is really, really fun. i kinda forgot.

on the way back, we took the scenic drive past keystone and arrapahoe basin. here we're at the continental divide. it was cold. and windy. and those people behind me were snowboarding and skiing in the middle of nowhere. psycho!

the divide.
