so here we go. jon's been out of town for the last two weeks and gets home tomorrow. i've been a busy little beaver painting EVERY ROOM IN THE HOUSE. let's just say we've moved a lot in the last few years so i'm ready just to LIVE. i'm done painting. whew! and i'm apparently nuts. don't do that folks! paint a house, by yourself, while your husband's out of town, and you have three kids.
where to begin.... i haven't taken a lot of pictures yet so these aren't super great. remember the entry way??
there's a little more going on now.
the hot pink action will make sense when i can finally afford the curtain fabric.
i've never really known what to do with our diplomas....and they're so pretty!!! an office isn't in my future so i just worked them in with the picture wall.
the living room looking into the dining room that'll be our playroom.
we took off that brass fireplace cover and the chandelier will move to the back dining room.
dark dated kitchen. i wanna rip it all out. not an option.
drawer pulls are on the wait list for $$. but the bottom cabinets are off black and the uppers a griege. you know, gray/beige. the cabinet doors are not going back.
oh yeah! did you notice the wood that was living under the carpet? and we took down those cabinets over the peninsula.
fireplace screen is gone along with the mantel. aaaaannnnnddd it's really white ;) trying to figure out what will live there.
the boys rooms both basically looked like this.
rowan's room so far. there's going to be a trim piece between the colors there and that curtain rod needs to get pushed in and the trim will be white and the changing pad will have a cover and the boy will wear clothes.
the dog painting inspired the room and the colors.
the dresser might need some new knobs ;)
here's a peak at the boys room. i painted a little dresser that someone gave us. i'm gonna do the lamps white and the shades....somethin!
