he looks older, like an elementary kid.
he was totally ready to start school back up.
a very wise woman told me once that by first grade a child needs structure and is ready to learn.
she wasn't kidding.
i adore dress code.
getting dressed is easy-peasy.
and we are for sure trying to get one more year out of that backpack.
both boys came to breakfast to construction paper placemats and itty-bitty school buses in their cereal bowls.
a small delight.

jack broke his green glasses a couple of weeks ago.
i love his little blue ones, but....can he see right??

jack apprehended my camera and shot pics of the boogie boy.
and the thing he was most excited for - his own desk with a top that lifts up.
