Second Grade

to say that i'm overwhelmed at the idea of catching up on the blog would be a vast understatement.  how do you begin to sort through weeks worth of pictures, and the details of a trip!?

and get back to school, laundry, meals, kids, work....

so let's start with the present, and for posterity sake, i will blog backwards, probably interspersing current right along with it :) 



this skinny little thing is now a second grader.  did i really just say that? yeah, i did.  he's huge and required a huge backpack this year.  man alive. 





i meant to "clean" his face in photo shop ;)  but then if i'd tried to go to all that trouble we wouldn't have this post either would we?





we got home to this crazy thing growing in the "punkin patch" that's completely taking over our side yard. there are about 4 more just like it!  all set for fall.  we'll have to have a ceremonial pumpkin picking or something...
