Indiana to Niagra Falls

we have been renting out our house all summer to some families in our ministry (athletes in action) who come into town each summer for projects, classes and our national cru conference.  when we left there were two families staying in our basement.  when we returned there was a new family down there and a guy staying upstairs in an extra bedroom with out his wife and three kids.
it's been quit the revolving door around here!

our first stop was in indiana to visit jon's family.  our oldest niece graduated from high school this year, and the goal was to make it in time to help my sister-in-law finish planning for and decorating for her graduation open house.  helping people shop and decorate....my favorite.
  we had so much fun.

the boys love visiting jon's parents.  the boys all sleep in one bedroom, and sometimes ralph will go in at night and tell them long stories about growing up on the farm until they fall asleep.

the guys eat up all the ipad time.  everyone has better technology than we do.

i spent much of paige's graduation party supervising the cousins in the hot tub.

the cutest high school graduate ever.  she's a total softball stud.

on our way from jon's family to mine, we swung through niagara falls.  we only spent three hours there, but managed to squeeze in riding the maid of the mist (and getting COMPLETELY soaked), a trolley ride and lunch (from a gas station of course).

it was so windy i wasn't even sure they were running the boats!

but they were!

next stop...new hampshire!

QUIP O'THE DAY
jon and i went to niagara falls for the first time when we drove from texas to new hampshire.  we got engaged that week on top of cathedral ledge in new hampshire.
