thanks so much for all of the comments on finn's bday post! the cake is way cool, and it really tasted even better than it looked. i followed meg's directions exactly. even bought the same cake mixes (98 cents each!) . the frosting rocked. it took me two batches to cover the whole thing. the hardest thing was getting all six layers to stand straight. it was such a fun cake...you should definitely find a reason to make it!

That cake is so cute, but definitely looks like a monster task. I browsed through her blog and decided that the cupcake version looks super cute and much easier. I'll definitely be trying it in the future. Thanks for sharing!
