Quite the Day

so most of my days read pretty normal.  routine, orderly, alone time, play time, family time.  i try super hard to add at least ONE fun time most days.  something other than routine blah, blah, blah.  those are the moments that typically end up on the blog ;)

today was "other than routine" day i guess.  it started so innocently.

i pulled the picnic table off of the patio for bike riding room and a bike/trike wash ensued.

a thunderstorm started to roll in so we moved the party inside.

finn wanted to play a game of course.

we needed something more though.  something to kill plenty of time and get out of the house.

i told the boys to grab their blankies and stuffies and hop in the car.  we were still in our pajamas, naturally, so we had a mid day "drive-in" watching cars on the laptop before we do cars 2 at the real drive in.
