Haul Out the Holly

the holidays are in full swing here in snowy colorado! there've been christmas cookie exchanges:



and holiday bunko:



but best of all, we've hauled out the christmas decorations and twinkling lights.



it's our second year of a new tradition. 



when we bust out the holiday holly, we break open a bottle of sparkling cider and mini powdered donuts.  an unlikely combination, but divine none the less.



my lens has decided to stop focusing (i'm having to use manual focus now) but we toasted the season and shook our booties to carols.



that's right finn.  get that donut.  and folks, don't be fooled by the jammies.  this all took place in the early afternoon.
