Mother's Day

it's been eventful around here.  this past week, jack broke his arm.  i might get around to some stinkin' cute pictures of a first grader in a cast later, but here's what our yesterday looked like:

jon surprised me with a HUMONGOUS flower basket from my favorite nursery Bath Landscape.  the boys were so cute trying to keep the surprise and so excited to bring it to me in the morning.

we went to have breakfast at lucille's, my absolute favorite.  it's a little cajun joint in an old yellow house in old town.  we got there at 8:15, 15 minutes after they opened, and waited an hour to be seated.  well worth it.

beignet aftermath.  he was covered in the powdered sugar he'd been spooning up and licking off his plate.

chicory coffee.
