all the boys rotate through all of the positions. catcher is a favorite. gear is just good.

jack called it the bony armor.

iphones. how did we live before them??? we've even recently stopped using ours as phones (more on that soon too i'm sure), but they still do their job as child entertainment. i've been reading "last child in the woods" and maybe kids should be able to sit through baseball games without electronics with nothing but nature to keep them company. yes. maybe so.

jon jumped in on the coaching duties.

it's amazing how much better jack is hitting with jon home to work on it with him. i thought i would do it with him, but yeah, that never happened.

"hi mom! just thought i'd say hi and check in."

rowan snuck down into the dugout. jack loved showing him around. and showing him off.

he even popped his hat on rowan's head and let him run through the high-five line ahead of him.

at the end the all received a medal. and donuts. and chocolate milk.

jack always asks if there are extras for his little brothers. this time there were. the evidence is everywhere.
