Get to Writin'

finn has one more year before he's off to kindergarten.  he could go to preschool this year, but we choose to not do preschool with the boys.  jack went for one semester, and, besides being expensive, we hated getting out so early and rushing our little four year old off in the mornings.  now that jack's been in school for two years, i realize how few the years are at home.  finn needs more pajama days ;)

so the one thing that jack did learn during his semester off at pr-k was writing his letters.  i have no idea how to teach writing letters.  i assume i should probably get started though if we're ever going to get through it.

every morning this summer, we've done devotions for 30 minutes and "school" time/ coloring for about 30 minutes.  it's been pretty fun :) having a little chocolate chip walnut zucchini bread with zucchini from the garden doesn't hurt either.
