Twas the Night Before Christmas

this year i was feeling the ole "brown paper packages tied up with string" wrapping theme.  sweet and simple, and, lucky for me, most people ship us our gifts direct from amazon so all of my wrapping coordinated.  bahahaha

the boys were surprised on christmas eve when a giant box appeared under the tree before we left for our church's candle light service.

telling them they were getting a BROTHER!

after church we ate a "fancy" dinner.

and lit "the white candle" whoa

then it was on to christmas eve pajamas!

wouldn't they be adorable monogrammed?! i'm just too practical to let myself do it.  when three other brothers could wear the same pair....

and for the first time jon and i each bought each other a christmas eve gift without even knowing it.  slippers! mine are from anthropology....he's good.  eek! i love them!

finn's belly is all stuffed like santa.

this little elf made a very big discovery last spring, and he's been excited all year to be santa's little stocking stuffing helper this year.

it was SO MUCH FUN having jack be santa with us.  best memories of the season.
