A Tub...In a Field, Naturally

here we go with this years random fall photoshoot.  once again we dragged along our better-by-the-minute friends the eliasons.  do you remember last year was "bed in a field" and the eliasons did it too.

this year we've moved on to bigger and better things.  this is the clawfoot tub i bought on craig's list for the boy's bathroom that's getting remodeled. "getting remodeled" means it's next on the long list of things to do to the house that probably won't happen anytime soon.   since it was just lying around, i thought i'd put it to good use.  it's so heavy that jon needed sam to help him drag it out to the field.  it doesn't hurt that sam has a truck either.

some of these are edited by my friend nicole, one by lyndsey, and some by me.  those girls are ah-mazing photographers.  it's fun to see what other people do with your pics ;)  i love them all! hope you do too :)





















it was really super fun.  that was the idea.  no stress just let the kids enjoy their outdoor tub experience.



behind the scenes must have been hilarious to watch.  sam was being crazy to try to get the kids to look and laugh, jon and gwyn were blowing bubbles til they were dizzy (and they didn't even show up that great) a certain small child pooped her pants ;) and i just clicked away.  you can see we're just barely off the trail in a natural area.  fortunately no rangers were around to nab us for smushing protected grass.

at one point i looked at gwyn and said, "what are we doing?!" and we both laughed so hard.  i'm pretty sure i was crying.  i mean who does this together?  crazy people.
